Pinoy California will soon launch its official Tiktok account in order to reach a larger audience, specifically Filipinos.

TikTok has become one of the most engaging platforms in recent years because it allows people to interact with others by commenting on video content, duet, and stitch features. As a result, TikTok has the highest engagement rates of any social media platform.

Pew Research Center, a Washington-based polling firm, revealed that over 4.2 million Filipinos are in the United States of America. This number equates to 18% of all Asians in the country.

Furthermore, Los Angeles and San Francisco recorded the highest concentrations of Filipinos. In 2019, Los Angeles had 500,000 Filipinos and San Francisco had 310,000.

Therefore, having a platform that aims to bridge the gap between California and Filipinos is an ideal initiative to help and guide the Filipinos abroad, and this is what Pinoy California desires.

Currently, PinoyCalifornia.com continuously produces content that will help overseas Filipinos in California. These contents include articles about Filipino businesses, travel and activity recommendations, Filipino foods, and entertainment.
