Search to Involve Pilipino Americans (SIPA) is a Los Angeles-based nonprofit organization founded in 1972. With the goal of improving the lives of Filipino Americans, SIPA provides a wide range of health and human services, as well as community economic development programs.

Initially, SIPA's programs are geared toward Filipino youth and families, with counseling and afterschool programs being the primary focus. However, in order to assist more people, SIPA has decided to include housing, small business, and consumer assistance services.

Furthermore, SIPA aspires to boost Filipino Americans' cultural awareness and civic engagement, particularly in Historic Filipinotown, which has a large Filipino population.

The organization's core values are based on Filipino morals - Kawanggawa, Damayan, and Pagtutulungan. Kawanggawa means a kind act, Damayan means people and community involvement, and Pagtutulungan means helping one another.

Now that the COVID-19 pandemic is still ongoing, SIPA will broaden its services by developing programs that address the needs of youth, families, seniors, and vulnerable communities affected by the pandemic.
